| What I did on my Memorial Day Weekend | |
I figured that Friday night after the gym closed I would begin my jackhammering work on the floor in my newly leased space. This is necessary for me to do in order to lay all the plumbing for 10 new showers, 10 new washbasins, 8 new toilets and a handful of floor drains. The work also has to be done at night when the Club closes because of the noise factor. The guy at the Handy-All said, "600 square foot area? Should take you 2 hours with this 90 pounder here." Well I thought it would take more realistically like 4 hours. Try 16. I worked till 3am Friday night, 2 am Saturday night, till 10pm Sunday evening and on Monday afternoon about 4pm I finshed. Glad thats done. I hope that your Memorial Day was a little more relaxing. - STEFAN |
